Velvet Thursday

I organize Velvet Thursday, new literary salon held alternately at Studio 414. The salon launches in September, a weekly gathering for emerging writers to share work-in-progress, talk about books, or simply, silently write and read in community. These will be informal, low-key, low-lit evenings; we will provide tea and wine and a cosy seat to sink into. Come to listen, read, or take part in a writing prompt. There is no pressure to share, just an atmosphere of warmth and a quiet haven to escape distraction and tune in to your writing practice. Every Salon will end with a quiet hour to write alone, in company. Writers of all genres are welcome.
