Suparna Choudhury is an interdisciplinary researcher and writer working at the intersections between mind, brain and culture. She is interested in liminal states and processes such as adolescence, birth, diasporic experience and uncertainty. She currently works as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Social & Transcultural Psychiatry at McGill University (Tiohtiá:ke/Montreal). She has a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience and an MFA in Creative Writing. She runs Velvet Thursday, a Montreal literary salon.
